    ABOUT BRITTNEY SHERELL

Brittney Sherell is a distinguished author, poet, neurodiversity advocate, and international speaker dedicated to shifting paradigms around autism and foster care equity. Having grown up navigating the foster care system herself, she channeled her lived experiences into launching A Suitcase and A Dream, a non-profit dedicated to resourcing and mentoring youth transitioning out of care. Following an autism diagnosis in her adulthood, Sherell stepped onto global media platforms to champion invisible disabilities and cognitive diversity. She captured widespread acclaim as a central cast member in the Peacock documentary series Traveling the Spectrum, which chronicles neurodivergent adults exploring the globe. Following personal health milestones that redefined her relationship with her hair, she has emerged as a bold face for alopecia visibility. Her message combines tactical life-coaching with storytelling, focused on empowering marginalized populations to transform system-level adversity into global leadership and uncompromised legacy.
