Registration Policy

Last Updated: November 17, 2025

This Registration Policy governs all ticket purchases and event registrations for Baldie Con 2026 (September 24-27, 2026 – Thursday through Sunday) and future Baldie Con events.

Baldie Con offers two ticket types: Full Access Pass (all 4 days) and Individual Day Tickets (single day access). This policy applies to both ticket types unless otherwise specified.

By completing your registration or purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy.

1. No Refunds Policy

All Baldie Con event registrations and ticket purchases are final and non-refundable, regardless of ticket type (Full Access Pass or Individual Day Ticket). Once your registration is complete and payment is processed, we are unable to offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Personal emergencies or illness
  • Travel disruptions (flight cancellations, weather delays, etc.)
  • Schedule conflicts or change of plans
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government orders)
  • Dissatisfaction with event content or programming

Why No Refunds?
As a self-funded nonprofit organization, all registration fees are immediately allocated to essential event expenses including venue deposits, hotel commitments, catering contracts, speaker fees, materials, and logistics. These commitments are made months in advance based on registration numbers and are non-recoverable once paid.

2. Ticket Transfers – Fully Allowed

While we cannot offer refunds, all Baldie Con tickets and registrations are 100% transferable, whether you purchased a Full Access Pass or Individual Day Ticket(s). You may transfer your registration to another person at any time before the event, at no additional charge.

How to Transfer Your Registration:

  1. Find Your Replacement: Locate someone who would like to attend Baldie Con in your place
  2. Notify Us: Email [email protected] with the subject line “Ticket Transfer Request” and include:
    • Your full name and original order/confirmation number
    • The new attendee’s full name, email address, and phone number
    • Confirmation that the new attendee agrees to Baldie Con’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and this Registration Policy
  3. Processing Time: Transfers are typically processed within 2-3 business days. You will receive confirmation when complete.
  4. Confirmation: Both you and the new attendee will receive email confirmation once the transfer is complete, along with updated registration details.

Transfer Deadline: Ticket transfers must be completed by September 17, 2026 (one week before the event) to allow time for badge processing and event materials preparation.

No Transfer Fees: Baldie Con does not charge any fees for ticket transfers. However, if you resell your ticket, any financial arrangements are between you and the new attendee.

3. Reselling Your Ticket

You are welcome to resell your ticket to recover your costs. We recommend posting in these places where demand is typically high:

  • Baldie Con’s official social media pages (Instagram: @baldiecon, Facebook, TikTok) – we often have attendees looking for last-minute tickets
  • Hair loss support groups (online communities and local Atlanta groups)
  • Your personal social media channels
  • Community bulletin boards and forums

Important Note: Baldie Con typically sells out, so there is often high demand for transferred tickets, especially closer to the event date. Once you find a buyer, follow the transfer process outlined above.

4. What Happens If You Cannot Attend?

We understand that life happens. Here are your options:

Option 1: Transfer to Another Person

Follow the transfer process above to pass your registration to a friend, family member, or someone from the community. This is the best way to ensure your ticket is used and you may recover your costs.

Option 2: Donate Your Registration

Consider donating your ticket to someone who may not otherwise be able to afford to attend. Contact us at [email protected] with the subject line “Ticket Donation” to discuss donation options. We can help match your ticket with someone in need.

Option 3: No Action Taken

If you do not transfer your ticket and do not attend, your registration fee will be considered a donation to Baldie Con Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This donation may be tax-deductible. Please consult your tax advisor.

5. Event Cancellation or Postponement by Baldie Con

Baldie Con will proceed as scheduled except in cases of extreme circumstances that make it impossible to hold the event safely (such as venue closure, natural disasters, or government mandates).

If Baldie Con Cancels the Event:

In the unlikely event that Baldie Con cancels the event (not the attendee), we will:

  • First Option: Offer full credit toward the next Baldie Con event (typically the following year)
  • Second Option: Provide a partial refund after deducting non-recoverable expenses already paid to vendors, venues, and suppliers

You will be notified via email of the cancellation and given the choice between these options.

If Baldie Con Reschedules the Event:

If the event is postponed to a new date, your ticket will automatically be valid for the rescheduled event. If you cannot attend the new date, standard ticket transfer policies apply.

Individual Travel Disruptions:

Important: Individual travel disruptions (flight cancellations, road closures, personal transportation issues, etc.) do not qualify for refunds, even if caused by weather or other circumstances. However, your ticket remains fully transferable to another person.

6. Medical Emergencies & Hardship Cases

We deeply empathize with medical emergencies, family crises, and unexpected hardships. However, as a small nonprofit with limited resources and non-recoverable commitments, we are unable to issue refunds even with documentation.

Your options remain:

  • Transfer your ticket to another person (family member, friend, or community member)
  • Resell your ticket to recover your costs
  • Donate your ticket to someone in need

We are happy to help facilitate transfers or donations in difficult circumstances. Please contact us at [email protected].

7. Ticket Types & What’s Included

Baldie Con 2026 offers two registration options:

Full Access Pass (All 4 Days)

The Full Access Pass grants admission to all events across the entire conference (Thursday–Sunday) and includes:

  • Access to all five events (Thursday, Friday, Saturday Day, Saturday Evening, Sunday)
  • All conference sessions, panels, and workshops
  • Entry to the vendor expo and exhibitor hall (all days)
  • Baldie Box with sponsored items
  • Meals and refreshments on scheduled days:
    • Hors d’oeuvres (Thursday evening)
    • Continental breakfast (Saturday)
    • Lunch (Saturday)
    • Jazz Brunch (Sunday)

Individual Day Tickets

Individual Day Tickets are sold separately for each event/day and grant access only to that specific event’s programming:

  • Thursday Ticket: Access to Thursday sessions, vendor expo, and hors d’oeuvres
  • Friday Ticket: Access to Friday sessions and vendor expo only (no meals included)
  • Saturday Day Ticket: Access to Saturday sessions, vendor expo, continental breakfast, and lunch
  • Saturday Evening Ticket (Baldie Ball Gala): Access to the black-tie gala event only

Important: Individual day tickets do not include access to other days’ events. Each event requires its own ticket.

Not Included in Either Ticket Type:

  • Hotel accommodations (discounted room blocks available)
  • Transportation to/from the venue
  • Meals on Friday (all ticket holders are on their own — explore Atlanta’s dining scene!)

Note: The Baldie Ball Gala is included in the Full Access Pass or can be purchased separately as the Saturday Evening Ticket.

Please review the full event schedule and ticket options at www.baldiecon.com before registering.

8. Age Requirements

Attendees must be at least 18 years old to register independently. Children and teens under 18 are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. The accompanying adult must purchase their own ticket and is responsible for the minor’s conduct and safety throughout the event.

9. Check-In & Badge Requirements

All attendees must check in at the registration desk upon arrival and wear their official Baldie Con badge at all times during the event. Your badge is your proof of registration and is required for entry to all sessions, meals, and activities.

Lost or Forgotten Badges: Replacement badges may be issued at the registration desk with valid photo ID. A $10 replacement fee may apply.

10. Event Photography, Video, and Media Release

By attending Baldie Con, you acknowledge that photography, videography, and audio recording may take place throughout the event. You grant Baldie Con Inc., along with its partners, sponsors, affiliates, and approved media representatives, the irrevocable right to capture, use, reproduce, publish, and distribute your image, likeness, and voice in any media, including but not limited to photos, videos, livestreams, online platforms, and print materials, for promotional, educational, and commercial purposes without compensation or further approval.

If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, it is your responsibility to notify event staff before or upon arrival and avoid areas where filming and photography are taking place. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee exclusion from wide-angle shots, crowd scenes, or general event coverage.

11. Vendor & Sponsor Agreements

Vendor booth fees and sponsorship commitments follow separate contractual agreements with their own cancellation and refund terms. Please refer to your specific vendor or sponsor contract, or contact:

12. Code of Conduct

All attendees must comply with Baldie Con’s Code of Conduct, which promotes a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in removal from the event without refund. For full details, see our Terms of Service.
