Kim Roxie is the founder and CEO of LAMIK Beauty, a pioneering clean beauty brand for multicultural women. Starting with a $500 investment in 2004, she became the youngest African American woman to have her cosmetic line carried by a major department store and made history as the first Black-owned clean makeup brand at major retailers. Inspired by her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis, Kim champions safe, organic ingredients and addresses beauty needs for women experiencing hair loss. A recipient of the Barack Obama Lifetime Achievement Award and honored with “Kim Roxie Day” by the City of Houston, she is a sought-after speaker, advocate for breast cancer awareness, and champion of inclusive, health-conscious beauty.
