Lisa Beasley is an actress, comedian, writer, and educator known for her viral satirical characters, including the beloved “Mayor Lory Litefoot with a ‘y'” and Corporate Erin. Originally from Gary, Indiana, Lisa pursued a ten-year theater career in Chicago at Black Ensemble Theater, Court Theater, and Second City, where she toured nationally writing and performing original revues. A member of the improv group 3Peat, she has appeared on South Side, Chicago Med, and The Blackening. As a professor at DePaul University and advisor for the Comedy Arts Program, Lisa teaches students how to authentically show up as themselves and occupy spaces to make insightful impacts through their talents. A community leader and entrepreneur, she believes in creating inclusive infrastructures where creativity can thrive.
